A receipt for the Whooping Cough
___________________________
½ an once of Cantharides
{...} ¼ Paragoric Elixir
¼ once Simple Tincture of Bark
1 once & ½ Simple tincture of Bark
____________________________
35 drops 3 times a day for a Child
a Year Old. 160 or a desert spoonful
for a Child 4 or 5 Years Old
It is necessary that 2 or 3 Emetics
be given previous to this receipt
