of Salt half bay & half White and Put to it 1/2 OZ. salt Peter

one pound brown sugar beat your bay Salt & Salt Peter

& then mix it together & rub it in by the fire and

let it lay a fortnight in Salt turning them every

other Day press them & Hang up to Dry ----
