Translation
For Mrs.Bulkeley 1806
Recipe: ½ ounce of Spanish Saffron,
½ dram of Tincture [?] of Anise.
Mix and prepare medium pills,
80 [?] in number, of which you should take 5 in number, twice a day, drinking with it
4 ounces of lime water.
