Rx Pulp.  1“Pulp.” appears to an error for “Pulv.” (powder), as most 18th century recipes with these ingredient call for “Pulv. Rad. Ipecuan.”, powdered root of ipecacuanha. [sic] Ipecuan. gr. i
xxivx Ext. Pascar gr. ij
M[isce] fiat Pilul. ter die ieiunus.

Recipe: 1 grain, powder of ipecacuanha,
xxivx 2 grains of [?]
Mix, have a pill made, three times daily on an empty stomach.
