½ once de Camphre
½ once d’Esprit de vin
½ once d’Esprit de Therebentine

Mettés le tout ensemble dans une bouteille
de verre bien fermée, mêlés bien
ces 3. Choses, dont le mallade prend[s]
30 Goutes dans du thé ou dans du vin
Chaud le soir et 40 goutes le mattin
apprès châques prise, il faut encor[s]
prendre la preparation Suivante, 
une pinte mesure d’angleterre, de lai
qu’il faut faire boüillir et y jetter ½
pinte de vin blanc, tirés ce mellange
du feu, ils les Cailleront, passés le tout
par un linge, estant passé, le mallade
le prendra Chaudement au lit, le
mallade suëra toute la nuit, il faud
le soigner et le changer de linge et

      Remedy Against Gout and

          Rheumatism, well proven.

½  ounce of Camphor

½  ounce of wine

½  of Turpentine

Put it all together in a glass bottle firmly shut, mix well

these 3. Things, which the ill person takes 

30 Drops in tea or in Hot wine 

at night and 40 drops in the morning

after each dose, one must again

take the Following preparation, 

an English measure pint, of milk

that one must boil and throw in a ½

pint of white wine, take this mixture

from the fire, it having curdled, pass it all

through a cloth, having passed, the ill person

takes it while Hot to bed, the

ill person will sweat the whole night, one must 

take car and change the cloth and
