To make Ink -

5 ozs of Galls
2 dit Capparis
1 Gum Arabic
1 quart of water

The Galls & water to stand 3 or 4 days &
stirr’d twice a day at least before the
rest of the ingredients are put in
add a small lump of allum
The Galls & Water shd stand near the
fire in winter or in the Sun
