Recipe for Yorkshire cakes.
Yorkshire Cakes.
To a quarter of a stone Flower
3 Eggs a little good Milk
¼ pound of Butter 3 Spoonfuls of
Yeast with a few lumps of sugar
Make this into Sponge then let it
stand ¾ of an hour then make it
up into dough & when done
make it into Cakes & lay them
upon tins & set them before the
Fire to rise. before you put
them into the oven
Bake them in a quick oven
