How to make fat drying ^oyl

to a quart of Linseed oyl
add two ounces of the lithar ^ge
of lead which mya be had
at Every Drugsters shops
pouder it fine when you have
mixt it boil it in a Earth ^en
pot and let it boyl for an
hour till the oyl be thick 
and fat allmost as thick as
treacle then set it on fire
stir it well then let stand
till clear and then let stand
till cowld then put two part ^s
of plane oyl and one of fat
for Drying paint

Annotations
Litharge of lead is, according to the OED, a "Protoxide of lead (PbO) prepared by exposing melted lead to a current of air."
Probably "plain" oil.
