Olivarum Syrup Balsam: ana ℥ij:
adde pro re nata Sp’ vitrioli tenuis,
ʒiv____ Dosis cochleare theæ
Recipe: 4 ounces of rosehip preserves, 2 ounces each of olive oil and balsam syrup, add according to need 4 ounces of thin spirit of vitriol. Dose: a teaspoon as the cough urges.
